I feel like this is becoming a very contentious topic nowadays especially in the world of social media and content creators getting exposed very other week for being child predators. Not only the but the questionable actions that certain social media platforms take leaves a lot to be desired in terms of stopping this type of behavior and getting these people of there platforms.
But then on the other side of that i seriously think genz or gen alpha hell people in general have lost the plot and are just throwing the word pedophile around for literally the stupidest of things. Like a seen people calling a guy a pedophile because he was in a relationship with a minor. Okay rightfully so that is until you realize that when he started dating this girl they were both underage and he back legal during the course of there relationship.
I believe they had two year gap and that’s not the only time on multiple occasions this year alone a big topic of contention I see about two ages in particular for some reason is the ages of 17&19 and if the guy in the situation cause it’s alway the guys never the girls apparently are considered pedophiles for dating a girl that not even young by there age group she’s just a minor but in many states people don’t seem to realize that’s the legal age of consent and in many other younger then that. Not yo mention we have laws for this Romeo and Juliet laws exist for these reasons and my vary fir your state.
Society has lost all sense in my opinion villainizing children is insane not to mention once we get to adults if your over a certain gap in age your basically crucified as a pedophile even if everyone involved is a legal consenting adult and happy with their relationship.
But from the massive amount of of weirdos getting exposed I can’t even really fault people but I think there needs to be a line drawn on both end we can’t go from one extreme to the other I feel like that’s all this generation is one big extreme to the next.

Live in the real world, and you will see nothing has changed at all for the majority of people. Social media and websites like this one and great at pushing nonsense information that dummies will believe.
Umm this is an ignorant statement it’s a logical fallacy itself saying that there a plenty of websites especially social media that push this content and then saying no one in real life acts like this doesn’t even sound like it makes sense. People consuming that nonsense in large quantities on the daily is the issue especially when it comes to our youth my co workers had to deal with a group of high schoolers coming into our store and telling stupid quotes they heard off the internet from popular streams like two days ago. So trying to basically say that something doesn’t exist cause it’s on social media is pretty dumb. The body positivity movement started online and is pushed heavily on there so what there aren’t fat people who actually believe that out and about?
I was married at 16 and lost my virginity on my wedding night. I think 16 is the right age, even 15 is fine and no romeo Julie laws either. If you are old enough to be having sex the age of your partner shouldn't matter.
Iiiii don’t know if I agree with that I do think at a certain point if the gap is extreme then there should be some looks especially if the girls in question is a minor. So just think given some of the age gaps involved people are exaggerating and once you are of age I’m honestly of the opining that you can date whoever you want to as long as your are both happy and in a consenting relationship. That doesn’t mean I don’t think that a 40 year old dating an 18 year old isn’t weird just means they have the right to do what they want.
