Is this a starter conversation for you guys to ask someone out on a coffee date (pre-date)?

What if the girl tells you she does not like coffee? What would be your next move?

It could be to see if you’re wanting to go out it could also be nothing but a conversation starter it just depends on the context of the situation as well as the guy.

For me if I asked that I may just ask what she does like.

Yeah, but a guy asked me if I liked coffee, I wasn't thinking at the moment and I said I don't like coffee. He didn't continue the conversation. So I don't know if he wanted to ask for a coffee date or not!
