How to put myself out there and date?

I’m 23 years old and I’ve never had a boyfriend before or ever been out on a date. I never even had my first kiss. I’ve had guys talk to me but there intentions were never good. I really want to find love, but I really don’t know how. And I’m beginning to lose hope that there is someone out there for me. A week ago a guy called it quits with me because I was too innocent for him, I was so confused because everything was going well. It’s like I’m losing hope but I want to try. The problem is I don’t know where to start, can anyone help?

Sounds like the first thing you need to work on is yourself.

on the one hand you are saying you want to date and be kissed, but on the other you say you’ve been asked out multiple times but you say no because you question their motives, saying they have bad intentions.

do you want the kiss or not? I doubt your judgement as someone’s intentions is very accurate especially considering you’ve never been on a date.

my advice to you is say yes, go on a date.

I'm in the exact same boat as you from the male side, plus 9 years. Never been on a real date, no sexual experience, no first kiss (childhood doesn't count). Partly due to personal choice and partly due to being born in the wrong era. I'm autistic too, which doesn't help. Women think I'm "boring", too naive, and not exciting. No success on dating apps and almost never been approached by women in public or online.

I can tell you where MOST women approach me is concerts and music festivals. You could try that. I don't really know what to advise you because I don't know what you're looking for in a guy. That would help.
