People need to chill I get being lonely sucks but you want to make sure you find a good man, or for men a good woman. Not just find the first snake in the dirt that will bite, at the end of the day some people become too desperate and pick someone absolutely horrible at least being single they have peace.

Take time to focus on yourself, find a hobby, try something new, go see a movie, go take a nice walk, just do something when the time comes to find the right person you’ll be glad you waited.

That sucks. I would suggest communicating with them openly that you don't need their pressure and that you're not okay with them pushing you. If they are people that you can replace or just leave, than that may be an option too.

Honestly they want to play Cupid and live the excitement of a new relationship through you sharing.

Honestly it never goes away. Every one does it and when your married it becomes when are you having kids... When are they dating? When you having grand kids!

You don’t “need” a boyfriend, or need people in your life who treat having a man like it’s the biggest priority ever. To me those women are boy crazy, they’re the ones who believe life is over if there’s no man, marriage or baby by 27. I’m not a fan of women who’s worlds revolve around men so much, because they should have more fulfilling lives with other big milestones that aren’t just marriage and babies. They also shouldn’t try to shove those ideologies onto others, nor should you allow them to be forced onto yourself.

I don't know why they'd do this. Ain't nobody's business but yours. Feel free to tell them you'll be ready when you're ready. If it's family pushing, and the issue is grandchildren, tell them "Wait right here, I'll go bail a prisoner out of jail and do him on the dining room table, bareback. Should have a grandkid in 9 months." That will shut them up.

Because people feel the need to interfere in other peoples dating and personal lives, they somehow believe that they can fix you or make you become a more romantic person.

It’d be the same if the majority were single. They’d be haters and trying to subtly sabotage a healthy relationship. It’s best to not listen to people. Most people can only innerstand and empathize with whatever they’re going through and try to force their beliefs on others to feel less alone.

Either people can't fathom that you're happy single. Or they're just concerned that you're not giving relationships a chance. My sister's and mother were convinced Ithis was the case with me till about 40. Then I think they finally relented and accepted my singleness.
