Anyone should especially if you don’t know the person well, you’re with somebody you barely know I would expect someone else to do the same for but, but also look out for the green flags as well as even yellow flags. Yellow flags are a thing too where it’s not so much of a red flag but it’s questionable though could be innocent enough.
You have to be careful in relationships not to get hurt and/or hurt somebody else people need to know when to break it off.

Heck no. That's a very negative view of life... and dating. If that's what you look for on a first date, maybe you shouldn't be dating.
Don't look for red flags. If there are any, they will just appear.

I think you should go into the first date trying to get to know them. I don’t think looking for only negative is a good idea but if there are “red flags” then yes you should see them and consider them. JMO!

You never go actively looking for red flags, they should stand out on their own. If you need a checklist or something then you have issues….
00 Reply If you do, perhaps YOU are the red flag. Stay positive……it’s a first date!

Probably because when most of us where young in Elementary school, in P. E we ran and played Capture The Flag. It was a red flag hanging off someone you had to yoink the flag! ✌️

Yes. Boats don’t ignore buoys otherwise they might run aground wreck and sink

Be aware, but if one looks for something negative, that person is likely to find it whether it is actually there or not.

I don't see why. They're called "red flags" and not "camouflage flags" for a reason. They ain't hard to find. You don't need to be on the lookout

Not looking, just not ignoring. If you're looking for them then you probably shouldn't even be dating. Because you're just adding to the toxicity that already exists in the dating world.

If you look for red flags, you're always going to find them.
Don't look for red flags, just be aware of them when they're staring you in the face.

I hate all this red flag stuff, everyone spends all their time looking for "red flags" instead of living their lives.
