Can I be in love with someone I’m not fully attracted to?

I've dated someone who made me feel deeply understood, cared for, and supported, even though I wasn't initially drawn to his appearance. Over time, his personality, kindness, and shared moments made me feel a stronger emotional connection, which sometimes outweighs the need for physical attraction. This internal conflict made me ask myself if true love requires both or if emotional intimacy alone is enough to sustain a relationship. What do you think?
