Any men truly disgusted with dating apps?

My ranking must be low, because every profile shown to me is extremely unattractive, with many profiles truly repulsive. I feel nauseous and sick in my stomach using these apps—it's such a bad experience lol.

At the end of the day, I have zero Likes despite significant effort to improve my profile and photos (which score very high on photo rating services). OK, a few Likes from people who are morbidly obese, but I can't even count those.

It's also amazing how almost every girl is fat... what has happened to this country?

Guys, this may seem like an overreaction, but I will say it anyway. I've forgotten how to find a girl attractive after spending time on these apps. I feel asexual and hopeless.

I strongly encourage men to stop using them and find women in real life settings. Although the obesity problem has worsened in my age group recently... so real life might not be much better

Unfortunately I'm a woman I understand the difficulties of dating apps most don't work and others are filled with bots and just take your money, it's easy for woman you could say but some apps do go to far specifically the ads of hot girls to make you download the app then to find out that all the good ones are bots

Personally I've never seen any dating ads targeted towards straight woman it's always ads of women not of men, a lot of dating apps have subscriptions on top of other payment related features, for free I would say use Facebook dating not only you can meet new friends but also go on some dates and find the right person, it's not always about looks, there is more to a woman or a man then just looks, don't let looks be the reason you decline someone, let interests and bios guide you if someone judges you on looks then maybe they aren't the right one for you and vice versa love the person for who they are not what they look like (unless they are like a 0 / 10)

The problems with these profiles are (with some exceptions) entirely within these girls' control, so it reflects very poorly on their character and intelligence.

Also, it's inescapable that I will be judged similarly by anyone who seriously considers me as a romantic interest. And I think I'm fairly good looking (:

Why would anyone with any common sense at all use a dating app? The ultimate dating site is on your doorstep. Go out and enjoy it.

No, I just view it as something to not take seriously, since not many do and online dating can very superficial, as people are pickier on there.

Also, it's the internet, so there were weird people on there and it was different than real life. I'd rather just ask a girl in-person, so I stopped using them after I tried them for a bit. As for fat girls, I saw less of them than skinny, but a girl being fat doesn't bother (unless she's morbidly obese). No point in complaining about it either way.

As for you, just stay away from the app and try to realize the apps or the internet does not reflect real life. You probably objectively know that, but try to genuinely believe it. Stick to asking girls out in-person like you said, since girls often go off of what they felt interacting with you - not your looks (as long as you put some effort into it). It's why they love funny guys, as they're looking for chemistry like the rest of is.
