Guys do you think dating is worth it right now?

Seeing what’s happening all around the world with people and how broken they are, do you think you can still find a lifelong partner? Personally I have been dating a while and also have been in a relationship where I was lied to and manipulated. Also when I date I can see that this person is trying to hide something and usually it turns out I’m right. From what I can see it’s a common thing right now. I’m 24 and wondering if it’s still worth trying because it’s time consuming. I could be following my pretty good career instead or enjoying nature on the weekends instead of trying to find a partner. Is everyone trying to hide a secret that they know would affect their partner these days?

The rise of freedom and democracy has changed people and lifelong partnerships don’t make sense anymore

People are broken by default. Before they were just hiding it well

Choose a calm but lonely life and focus on your career. You will fill some gaps with money

I could tick any number of those.. Divorce rates are bullshit , in reality they are wayyyyyyyy wayyyyyyy higher than the actual rate , many staying together for financial , security , Church , children and other such bullshit reasons..

The actual percentage of failure is genuinely 80% in real terms , the entire concept is ludicrous , and complete nonsense.
