I'd recognize all kinda of ways she might have come to acquire such funds. Her attractiveness age education n known or declared profession. would clue some one in further. Her living Circumstances. would say to the demistification process. I'd think.. it's only concerning if she were exesively greedy and insisted on capitalizing

If it was in a marriage it would be a betrayal of trust to hide that from me. Likely I'd find out by opening mail and seeing a bank statement getting home early or something and wonder what else is hidden, and get in contact with an attorney.

If it was in the bank sitting in a regular account making low interest I would laugh at her but if she were smart enough to open up a certificate of deposit or something making higher interest I would be impressed.

but today that is not very much, but a lot really depends on how old she is.
If she is 20 that is good, if she is 40, I don't think she could ever retire.
