What's the BEST FIRST DATE you've ever had?

After my divorce, I started dating a few women I met at an online dating site. One first date was particularly memorable. Her name was Ramona, also divorced. We had a very nice dinner at an Italian restaurant, talking and enjoying each other's company. After dinner, as we walked to her car, we noticed a cinema across the street. We both looked at each other and almost simultaneously asked "How about a movie?" It was already 9pm, and we caught the last showing of the day; there were only maybe 10 people in the theater and we sat near the back. I don't even remember what movie it was. It was only a few minutes into the movie that we started to make out like teenagers. It was the start of a very nice, but short, relationship, that ended when she decided to return to her hometown, many miles away. Great while it lasted.

My best first date was a misunderstanding. I had girlfriend during college, but my first after graduated b. a. degree.

I told her i would meet her at a hotel lobby of a fancy hotel. "The one with romantic glass elevators" i exaggerated. It was fancy full 5 star! Luxury. Well

She heard "hotel " n romantic elevator and misunderstood so she rennted a room for the night.

In the lobby i ordered fruit juice and she said get a cocktail. Steep kuz i didn't know yet she rented the room. But i had the money, so i asked the waiter for the menu, that he gave before rushing to other customers.

I said i will buy for both of us a tequila cocktail (with stuff, maybe passion fruit?) or wich cocktail?

she said, "i have a bottle of wine for when we go to our room.:

I was so shocked i blurted out (the fancy word for "exclaimed words" is ejaculated but only words) "but i am not paying for a room!"

then she explained she had rented it.

Well !

i wasn't gonna miss that. And stuff i shouldn't say. Best first date. Never topped.

Met her on an online dating site. She lived in Gainesville, about 75 miles away from me. We talked on the phone for several hours and the conversation flowed very easily. We agreed to meet for dinner at a seafood restaurant in downtown Gainesville.

She looked EXACTLY like her profile photos, and she was very lovely. As soon as we started talking, I lost track of the time and the rest of the world. I was 60 years old at the time, not naive or ignorant, but I felt like a kid on his first date. It was just her and me in a corner booth of the restaurant. After dinner, she ordered a glass of wine and we continued talking. I'm sure I had been smiling non-stop for two hours when we realized that we needed to say goodnight. We made plans for our next date: she would drive to Jacksonville and we would go to the beach and dinner afterwards. I walked to her car and gave her a goodnight kiss. The whole night felt like magic.

The next day, she ghosted me.

A picnic at a lake. We rode our bicycles to the lake.

We found a park and a picnic table. We set up our stuff. I was just about to take a bite of my tuna sandwich, and a majestic bald eagle landed on our table. Holy crap, they must be 3 feet tall. It just starred at me, and then stole my sandwich and few off. I was kind of in shock, but my date could't stop laughing. Soon I was laughing. Did that just happen? And you might recognize this guy.

He lives on the lake, and he had his family at the park we were at. I said: "Hey, Ryan, where's Drew?" Without missing a beat, Ryan said: "He's probably at the playboy mansion."

It was a fun, and cheap day.

my boyfriend now followed me to one of my shows in West Virginia of all places (we both live in LA) and after a year of pestering me i finally said i would go out with him, then, being West Virginia and what-not, we had to fly back to Nashville to have our date at 2 in the morning in the kitchen of Drusie & Darr

I really put in effort with her, I usually don’t go so far. The less I tried the more they seemed liked me. iFly, indoor flying

If I took her to bed she’d probably be locked in for as long I wanted as usual for me. I was a dick.
