Usually if it's a first date a pair of high waist jeans, fancy blouse and jacket with some ankle boots ( winter). For summer: a dress and sandals.

I like to dress up for dates as it shows the other person you want to look good for them. That being said, it also depends on date, I've been on kayaking and hiking dates which I don't dress-up for.

Stay in for cozy nights, easy. I'll dress up and go out for a date every now and then, but it's exhausting and I hate it every time. I only do it because I have to. I'd much rather stay home, order delivery, and watch a movie or something else where I can relax.

cozy at home, lol. i remeber when i used to work in a office which had a dress code. i would pack cozy clothes to switch to when i was done for the day. that how much i hate having to dress upp.
