You shouldn't even be with a guy that categorizes women this way. A man that wants a relationship is not going to put her aside to use her for later. He'll just ignore her and not waste his time. He'll focus on finding a godly woman with good morals and standards.

It wouldn't come down to any material differences, it would more so depend on where I am in my life and my state of mind.

She could be everything I want in a girlfriend, but if I am not in the mood to take on the responsibilities that come with having a girlfriend I may ask whether a friends with benefits works for her. She maybe in the same boat.

Depends on a few factors really, but the biggest one is what is seem long term. A lot of times for a friends with benefits, both parties enter into it with a mutual understanding of no strings attached and to be available to eachother to fulfill / satisfy their needs. It's like a primal relationship.

Girlfriend material would be both parties having a genuine interest in eachother for more than just satisfying needs, but also that long term connection and emotional connection.

Its a matter of chemistry and matching energy.

Its also a matter of personallity. She has to be lighthearted, has defined tasted and hobbies, and thinks for herself. That's what I look for in my case.

And to be honest I simply couldn't do a friends with benefits situation. I have to be very emotionally invested in her before actually sleeping with her.

I think a woman who is girlfriend material is a woman I can see becoming my wife in the future. A woman I want to court and be the mother of my children. A friends with benefits is a woman who I may enjoy hanging out with and let's me hit. I would never want to be in a serious relationship with her.
