Why is it a big deal with a woman is over six feet but not a man?

Okay so everyone, well most people makes a huge deal outta me because I’m 6’4” and a young woman. When there’s a 6’4” man, nobody makes a huge deal out of it.
People always asks how tall I am and argue with me that I’m taller than I really am. That’s why I hate being asked “How tall are you?”.
I’ve had rude rude comments and people giving me shit for being a very tall woman. Also dating is shit for me compared to a 6’4” man.

Age is just a number. It's how old you feel that counts. I feel like I'm still around the age I was when we recorded this video, late 20's/early 30's. In this video, I just turned 34 and my singer just turned 38. We continued putting on shows like this, cartwheels and all, `til he died at 69 thanks to cancer from his exposure to agent orange in Vietnam.
I knew you wouldn't bother so, I'm not trying to win you over, I'm just trying to get you to understand that just because you've lived a long time doesn't automatically make you old. When I was about 7, somebody your age was OLD!! Do YOU feel old? Yesterday, some 30 year old woman here claimed she was old!! When I was 30, I was still a kid! That's how I felt! If the band still existed, I could still get up on stage and play 4-hour shows like we did back then. I might have a little rust to knock off because I haven't touched my drums in 5 years (thanks to my ex-sisters) but, it wouldn't take me long to get back into it.
One of my aunts lived a block away from me and she would get out and take a brisk walk every day `til her stupid kids forced her into a nursing home at 97!! She died 3 weeks short of her 100th b-day but only because she just sat and rotted in that home!! Had her kids let her stay in her house I'm SURE she would've made it well past 100!! Shortly before they tricked her into going to the home, I went out for a walk with her. She was just under 5' tall and even I had trouble keeping up with her!! And I tend to walk fast!! I do a mile in about 12 minutes at my NORMAL pace! 10 minutes, if I power walk it.
I'm always asked how tall I am, too and I either just tell them or turn it into a kind of joke.
"How tall are you?"
I'll put my hand on top of my head, then slide it to the same level right next to me and say, "About that tall." I might follow that up with, "Don't look up here! You'll get a nose-bleed!"

They ask if I play basketball, I just say, "No, drums." I only played basketball a couple times in gym class because we had to. I didn't like it. I was only 6' 1", then. The tallest kid in my class was about 6' 4". I tower over him, now.
A guy I used to work with was almost as tall as me and HATED people asking how tall he is! So, when the basketball question came, as it is won't to do, he'd say something like, "No! Do you do midget wrestling?"
Anyway, good luck finding a guy. It's no fun at all being lonely. I've been alone most of my life. I've only ever had 4 girlfriend's, the first 3 only lasted a couple months @, the last one I was with for 10 years (she was 5' 3") until the mini-bitch started cheating on me!! I haven't been able to find a girlfriend for 29 years, now! I didn't get my 1st girlfriend `til I was your age.
The only visits I get anymore are from the rabbits in the yard that come up on the porch to beg me for bread. I give them each half a slice. In fact, it's bunny feeding time right now so, I should go take care of that.

2. Those who are intimidated by your being taller.
3. Those who like it but actually fetishize your height and never see the real you.

But, the answer to your question is: because it deviates from the average. Most women are not that tall. For men it is the other way around, most women do not want a short man.

Because people will make a big deal if you stand out. It shouldn't be a big deal since its something you can't control. Best way to go on about it is just to embrace and accept it no matter how annoying it can be. Height does not define one as a person at all.
