Why is a woman's weight a sensitive topic but a man's height shouldn't be?

So we all know women like tall guys and men like women who are for the very least not obeses. In general.

One of the trends in online dating such as tinder, is if a man's height is not displayed then a women before considering to move the conversation along would usually ask the guy how tall he is?

If a guy responds back by asking a woman how fat she is, the woman in question get's annoyed and usually ask why is that important.

This seems to occur a lot but the question then becomes:

1) Why is it sensitive to ask a woman how much she weights? Yet women see no problem asking a guy how tall he is before proceeding to give him a shot on date.

Yeah, it is one of the pressures that the media puts on us. Women can 99% of the time control their weight, yet we can't judge them... we can 100% not control our height and it is acceptable to judge us sexually LOL

And yet no woman ever sees it that way. Makes me so angry. For cripes sakes, they aren't even comparable! And we should judge on tightness just like they judge on penis size too!

I don't know if a man's height is as important as commonly made out to be. I'm 6ft muscular guy, which is decent. However I've had other shorter guys beat me to the punch when it comes to attractive women. It's much more complicated than just weight/height.

I agree. I also think people shouldn't try to hide their physical attributes in online dating. Women are judged in height and men on weight too. And everyone is judged on facial features, expressions, hair and skin tone. People are going to find you attractive or not. Just be upfront with it.

I'd consider a guys height a sensitive topic as well. I'd never ask a guy his height unless he asks mine first. I think it's kinda rude.

I find it annoying. Girls would usually date jerks because of their height. And when they need emotional support, they turn toward me.
