BE HONEST. What % of women would actually remain loyal if their husband lost his job, and all his life savings in the face of a travesty?

What I’m saying is, let’s imagine a guy has his entire family die in a car crash.

He’s struck with grief, loses his job, and being in a compromised emotional state, wastes all his life savings and has no money left.

Would the woman still remain to loyal to him? And still love him exactly as much as the way she did before? Would her love still remain totally unchanged?

Or would the vast majority of women (as in like 95+%) just be like “nope fck you, you’re a loser, we’re done”

The reason I ask is because of a conversation I had with a recent reddit user. To be fair, this wasn’t misogony (as I know some people will accuse him of), and he insisted that most of the world’s people (men and women included) are just extremely f*cking shallow people when it all comes down to it.

But by your estimate, what percent of women would divorce a guy if he fell victim to the very same situation I described?

All I’m saying is, I wouldn’t a woman whose loyalty was conditional on whether or not I could provide for her.

I’d want a woman that loves me, solely for me….. and not because of money or any other thing I offer.

A woman that would still remain loyal in hardship, and if all other things about me (aside from personality and character) just completely evaporated.

But how many women are actually like this?

To clarify, by “provide for” I mean providing for financially, not emotionally.

I would always make a personal effort to be present in the relationship.

Most I think would leave him, as I've seen it happen many times. Should they? No! I would stay with him, because I believe when you choose to marry someone, you vow, "for worse or for better". You vow to stay with them no matter what, and you do that before others. So when you don't stay with them, you are breaking a vow, especially one you committed before God. That is a big mistake. A lot of women I have seen though, will stay with a man only for what he has and when he has nothing, she leaves him. I think that's wrong though.

Yes, and I think that if someone thinks they could only love someone for what they have and not who they are, then they shouldn't marry. Marriage is for the mature who understand what love really is, and love is unconditional!

It really truly is a shame. It makes it harder to find someone. Most people have so many problems, that they don't even last in the dating stage either, or in relationships. I feel like so many people are just not even marrying because they can't commit, so they would just rather hookup. It's sad

This is a very interesting topic. This why it's ok to wait choose wisely. I'm not trying to be your older sister here but Pray to the Lord to guide you to the correct wife that's best fit for you. A woman who shared your same values and beliefs system. Be careful who you choose as a spouse. Please please I beg take your time. The Lord knows when's the right time for you to get married and start a family. Especially us Christians we must be careful who we married. I know a worldly woman and a first men do not go together. My advice is just pray about it and God will put the right woman for you.

Your still young. No worries you have plenty of time. I got married when I was really young. I made the huge mistake of not pray about this men aka my ex husband. Now I must pay the consequences He wants to raised our kids Mormon go to mission and I want to raised our kids Christianity. It can be an huge issue now. I must see this jerk for the next 18 years. This why I advice you to please please pray about it make a fasting and God will answer. My now husband yes he is older then me but we are on the same page. Maybe around 25% so about the same percentage of men who actually value the type of woman who would. Many times a guy will also leave the woman who was him when he had nothing or was struggling once he has more money and thus more possibilities with gold diggers.

I'm not sure I could. Because there's what I see in my own life and then I see the rest of the world.
I have 4 sisters and all are uber faithful to their husband even in hard times. But this is NOT what see in the overall population.
If I had to guess, maybe 30 to 40%.

It depends on the way you want to look at it. How would you feel if I told you there's a 60 to 70% chance you get shot today. Do you like those odds?
The point I'm making is would you be willing to dedicate your life to some that has a 60 to 70% chance of flaking on you when life gets a little tough? We're not talking about a 60 to 70% chance you get a cold. We're talking about a 60 to 70% chance she ruins your life.
Now I ask you what guy in their right mind would sign on for that?
And women wonder why so few guys want to commit anymore. The odds simply are not with them.
And I've already mentioned my sister's. i have the curse (or maybe it's a luxury) of knowing 4 quality women. So I know what a quality woman looks like. And this world is in very short supply of them today. So it's really not that hard of a choice to remain single. Even if a guy wants to be in a committed relationship deep down.
