I do have a couple more questions too..
This guy was going through a divorce with his now ex wife. I was lightly talking him during the separation. When I say "lightly" I mean no intimacy what so ever in text or in person. We made it clear that we both liked each other. I made it clear that I don't want to take things further until his divorce was final. We quit talking for a while.
The divorce took a year to finalize, and we started talking again. He initiated it. We are taking things very slow. We went on a few dates so far, he told me he really liked me, and that he wants to see where things go. He drives 40 minutes ro come see me. It took until the third date for a kiss. We are both shy, and we both don't like to take things too fast.. especially since we both have kids.
I would say so far, the communication is great. Things are moving at a healthy pace, the connection is strong, and it feels so organic.
After a long marriage that started at a young age, did it feel odd seeing a new woman after being married for so long?
How long did it take you to feel fully comfortable and feel free/confident when entering the dating scene? Did it feel awkward at first?
