I’ve met “immature” women who are 40+.

But how do you define “immature”. For me it’s the following:

they are financially dependent on others despite being an able bodied adult living in a modern western country. They also feel more entitled to tax payer funded handouts. It’s one thing if you go through a tough phase and need some temporary help until you get back on your feet. Quite another if you are looking for someone to “save you”
They have little or no emotional self control when interacting with other people you disagree with. This has been increasingly problematic with “political” women. They quickly mistake someone disagreeing with you as “hatred”.
They make up or exaggerate feeling “threatened” but in reality you are afraid to communicate an emotionally uncomfortable issue.

But I imagine you have a different definition of “immature”.

It really depends on the context in which you are asking this question and its also possible they are not amateur. You are not just mature enough to realise/understand their way of thinking. If you are asking from dating context, then people you are coming across man who are single by choice and they have understood the folly of modern dating world and just want to sleep around.

If you are asking in general, then yeah some people come from protected background and they don't realise stupidity of their own actions like Donal Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.

Yes and people wonder why woman my age rather be with men over the age of 45 maybe because generation X men are way more mature and they aren't men child. Ridiculous how guys my age millennial men still be calling mommy for permission. Men my age are all immature momma's boy. I am not interested in becoming a men's mother and pick up where his momma left off. Honestly Generation X men are way better. They know what they want they don't have to ask mommy permission for everything they have a mind of their own. Men should always be head of house hold not mother in law.

Sadly yes. I'm all for young energy and having a laugh (some would probably say I'm immature at times) but you also gotta know how to take care of yourself and responsibilities.

Majority of men on dating apps upto age 40 or so still living at home, "drive but no license" or some such shot. Like come on, sort your life out to at least the basics paying your own bills and having goals to better yourself (I. e car if it suits your job prospects). Most guys in 30's seem like they are looking for a mommy figure to take care of them.

I’ve seen some men and some women act immature even at 33-34, don’t know why you are specifically saying 33-34 because we all have immature moments from 18-100 years old.

I’ve seen movie writers for comedies make immature jokes, I’m sure they are a majority men & over 30 and I’ve seen women act immature over the littlest things (a school staff talked down to a non social meek child ME over a simple misunderstanding which turned into a grudge towards ME the entire time I was there….)

Absolutely! One of my friends is like that. Man is 33-34, been chatting with a girl from qualified dentist in another country for three years. Two years into their relationship, she moves up to the US for a year to find out if marriage is a possibility between them.

Her gorgeous, Brazzer's-dentist-looking Brazilian ass hops off the plane and moves in with his family, only for him to freeze up and "not know what he wants."

Bear in mind that this dumbshit lives with mom and dad's support, and has 3 part time jobs as a special needs caretaker, nanny and he helps with his dad's business.

Immature people can be of all ages, but I'd say men take longer to get to an acceptable level of maturity than women. With acceptable, I mean when they get to a point that they are independent enough to stand their own ground.

I guess it also depends if you were spoilt as a kid. If no one ever told you that you had to stand up for yourself, you're likely to carry that over as an adult.

Age doesn't always mean maturity. And guys take a lot longer to mature. I know both men and women that are middle aged and elderly that never matured. It's just their personalities at a certain point.

It's perhaps not always what ''society'' wants us to believe.

Maturity in my own eyes means to be able to sustain one's own life without external assistance.

I know many will say, it's immature for guys to enjoy things, they enjoyed as a child... that's just not true. Immaturity in adulthood is not being able to have emotional maturity and taking responsibility for ones own actions without excuses or blaming someone else... needless to say, we see that immaturity every day, especially in politicians and famous people.
It takes awareness of one's own actions, effort, and self-reflection to become emotionally mature.
