I'm one of those people who thinks as a car as no more than transport.
So as long as it's comfortable, has a decent sound system, works well and is cheap in usage, it's a good car to me.

I've not got any issues with people making bad choices.

No honestly I've got nothing against electric cars they have far more potential for performance and some people going electric works. But not for me.

Charging is too slow for me and too expensive at public charge points. I don't want to add hours onto a journey to stop off at multiple charge points. Electric cars are super expensive to buy and batteries degrade over time!
