Girls, do you prioritize texts about making plans rather than casual conversation?

I feel like sometimes when I text a new girl she takes longer to reply to casual conversations like "Hey how's it going", compared to making plans for going out. For example Friday the day of the date with a girl I texted her in the morning asking what she did with her roommates for fun after a short text exchange. She didn't reply for 7 hours until I texted her again confirming the time for our date. I texted her last night just asking how her week is and there's still no reply. During our date she did mention a few times she barely has any free time, but still, is this typical of girls to be less likely to reply to these types of texts?

So who is this girl to you? What is the expectation? In a general sense she just may not be much of a texter, but that’s assuming she’s even interested. You may be chasing for no good reason if she isn’t into you but polite and not wanting to feel bad by leaving you hanging.
