i hadn't seen this girl for some time than about a month ago she returned home to our area. she had always worked as a server at this restaurant and i'd see her there. so i've seen her there many times since she came home and we've talked and hung out there. but none of our conversations got into private things much and i found out why later on.
when i was there on Monday one of her co workers asked her about her " boyfriend " and what they were doing when he came up to see her this week. then she left as her shift was over and i haven't seen her since. and she won't be there Friday either as she and co workers going to see a concert in another city.
its also end of season at this restaurant as its more of a summer time patio hang out place and patio season almost over here as its October. so i'm not even sure how many shifts she has left there
i'm not sure who the boyfriend is but he doesn't even live here as she mentioned he was driving here in his car from where ever he lives. so its a long distance thing which is perhaps why she was able to hide it from me for so long.
she seemed to like it when i came in and saw her there so perplexed at the lack of honestly or why she'd rather date a guy from another city over me when i live rate here. long distance things usually don't even work out unless one of the people are eventually willing to move to where the other lives. so she's investing a lot of effort into something which may go nowhere over dating me.

well its not unheard of to " date " more than 1 person at a time. it sounds like this is a more serious boyfriend and that she isn't seeing anyone else
but why not just tell me so i'd stop coming in to see her there all the time? easiest way to get ride of me would of been to tell me about him but she seemed to like my attention and didn't want me to know

i doubt its about the tips , i don't even tip that much as 1 or 2 beers there is like $10 or $15 so tip isn't much more than a buck or 2
i don't even know how many shifts she has left there , was there yesterday and she wasn't there but other 2 girls said they had been really slow and barely made any sales. October is usually when patio season ends here and restaurants can only use indoor seating for rest of fall into winter
restaurant still has some indoor seating but doesn't need as many servers to stay open
She's obviously not interested in you that way if she wanted to date someone long distance. I'd just say to move on and find someone else.
i don't know what she wants from this situation , obviously i'm free to do whatever i want this weekend and so of course it won't involve her.

it sounds like she meet him when she was living in that city for school although she has since graduated and no longer lives there.
she didn't seek out a long distance relationship when living here.
i'm not even sure where he lives , but our city is like only 20,000 people and a couple hours north from all the major centres so he can't be from anywhere too close

i know its rather weird that she'd be ok with me spending so much time with me there and then being so dishonest about her life outside of the restaurant.
maybe she was bored , if boyfriend long distance sounds like she didn't see much of him this month when i was around her instead.
i also guarantee whatever story she's told him about me always going there to see her doesn't bother to mention that she liked it and she never bothered to tell me about him
