Why did he stop in the middle of making out?

Fyi, this is the first guy I'm with. I've just started dating this guy and we have just gotten to the point of kissing and making out, so we are not that close yet. Otherwise I would ask him straight out. This was like our second or third time just laying in bed making out. He is on top of me and it is a good time. All of a sudden he just stops and like rests his head by my neck and after awhile he rolled off me. I don't get why we stopped because I sure didn't want to :(

It might be a really dumb question but I also feel dumb as I have no experience and maybe there is an obvious answer

Ah shit, that is weird that he just stopped like that. As a guy, here are some possibilities:

- He might have felt like things were moving too fast and wanted to slow it down before it led to more. Y'all are still new so he could've hit the brakes.

- Maybe he was really into it at first but then started overthinking or feeling performance pressure down there. Performance anxiety can be a boner-killer real quick.

- Possibly he wasn't feeling 100% and it killed the vibe, like he started thinking about something else that distracted him.

- There's a small chance his parents called or something came up that made him pause unexpectedly.

I wouldn't necessarily take it personally. New relationships can make people nervous. Next time y'all hook up, maybe try setting the pace yourself more so he doesn't psych himself out. Or ask casually what happened to put him off just so you understand where his head was at.

Chances are it wasn't you at all! Give it another try and see if he opens up more. Don't be afraid to show him how much you're into it too. Hope that helps explain some possibilities and makes you feel less dumb!
