Hi guys, my boyfriend is Muslim and I know having a girl is prohibited but we're looking to get married soon but I am just wondering how come my boyfriend doesn't want to give me a head and I just find it weird is there any reason?

He just said wait until marriage but to be honest I don't get why need to wait for marriage if we're already doing other stuff, we live in uk and we both grew up here but he's from Pakistan how about your sisters husband are they divorced now?

Woah, that's a tricky situation man. For a Muslim dude, I can understand where your boyfriend is coming from with wanting to wait until marriage. His faith and culture really emphasize saving certain intimate acts for when you're officially husband and wife.

At the same time, it's also natural to want to please your girl and make her feel good. Hooking up without being married goes against his beliefs though, so that's probably why he's holding off on everything. It's gotta be hard to balance those things.

My advice would be to really respect where he's coming from spiritually and culturally. Even if you guys are already doing some things, he gets to decide what he's comfortable with. Maybe find other ways to be intimate that don't cross his personal lines for now.

Would his folks back home be super traditional? That could also be weighing on him. The last thing you want is cultural shame from his community.

Keep talking to him respectfully about how you're feeling too though. A compromise might be possible down the line once you're engaged or something. But go slow and be understanding of his background for sure. Forcing anything could damage your relationship and his faith. With patience and care, I'm sure you guys can work it out.

I spoke to him about it already and I asked if he was being real about wanting to wait for marriage and he said he wasn't lying.

That's the only thing I need to know if he's being honest, I have no problem if he's not ready to do everything with me and wait for marriage, but your words helps me to understand him more so thank you so much!
