I think in current western society, there are definitely more benefits as a woman in comparison to a man.

Women have more than equality in almost all aspects. Manual labor jobs are dying more and more and mental jobs are more valuable in society. Because men don't feel their place in society as easily as in the past, they're lost in life. More women are graduating from university and college.

Women are chased and don't have to put effort in dating nearly as much as men. They are more likely to get paid and provided for. They win court cases with kids and although there's work being done to give men more rights in court, the court still favors women.

Women have more rights physically as well. A woman slapping a man is not looked down on anywhere near as much as a man slapping a woman.

Men are repressed in society and are (a lot of the time) afraid of speaking their mind on matters.

It's the richest as a wealthy person and gender doesn't even matter if you are wealthy or at the very least upper middle class.

Failing that, a beautiful woman can leverage her pretty privilege to make experiences, that which even an above average guy can't make.

I don’t ever think we’ll truly know who has it better, personally so far my life has had its ups and downs but I’d say being a girl is quite the experience and as periods may suck I’d say that’s the only downside to being a girl.

@peytonvd yes. I would say that I enjoy being a girl except for that. Of course, I have never been a guy, so that is difficult to compare. I am happy though except once a month.

If I had to guess, I'd guess that it's richer for guys, but that's only because of how many women I hear complaining about social pressures preventing them from doing things they want to do.

As a guy, it's a little more expected that when I tell people to kick rocks, they'll stop bothering me. People are a bit pushier when it comes to women.

As a guy, while women may have two sets of twins, and technically a guy has one set of twins unless you count male biceps lol 😆 - having my singular appendage that sometimes sticks out from the front of its socket - I guess it's true what they say. I've only experienced it as a guy, b ut I still think it is an individual thing. I've met adventurous guys and girls who like to travel and try new things like parasailing or skydiving and others who like to sit at home and live vicariously through the experiences, real or imagined, of people on television.
