Is it a red flag if someone is using travel mode on bumble to you?

In my opinion I take it as them not being as serious or looking for constant flings. I’m curious to know what other people think.

I disagree. That is a one minded perception you have. I'm female and I used the travel mode recently when i went to Vegas. I am still looking for a LTR but struggling to find anyone in my home town so I thought I would see the possibilities in Vegas since a flight from where I live is only an hour or two. I found a few profiles of matches in Vegas where they even said they would relocate for the right person and I think others would too. So don't close that door just because they are using travel mode an your making an assumption only people that want hook ups. Not true there are those of us willing to look outside are area for a true connection and love. Even matches in your own area and traveling are looking for hook ups. You just have to weed them out.

I wasn’t thinking completely one sided, that’s why I asked other opinions to see what others experienced. Thank you for sharing that with me. With some recent news I don't know if I will be using dating apps any time soon but that does give me a new perspective

Basically you don’t have a set location for your app/dating profile because the person may travel often and so they are using the dating app in different cities

Ah I thought so. Well it's not honest really so I would deem it as a red flag in that they may just bee seeking out one night stands etc which is fine if they're clear about it but if not quite snakey

well Bumble also has no business tracking your location and showing weirdos on dating where you are. This creepster would ask a friend of mine how was this neighborhood or that one because he’s up in her profile every minute checking where she’s at. She went to a birthday party in a neighboring town and he asked about that. She spent the day at a conference, and he knew

So she went on travel mode. There’s no in-between
