Are men more relatable to insecurity than women?

Think about it. If a woman is called ugly, her feelings get hurt, just like men get their feelings hurt when they are trash talked.

Women consistantly focus on how they look, how they dress, smell and so on. They were make up all the time in public, bras that make their boobs look bigger and so on. All this hard work to feel confident, as pretty as possible.

If there is one thing that girls are famous for not tolerating in a guy that wants to date them, is insecurity. Way too often the confidence criteria is brought up by girls.

If girls didn't feel insecure, why would they need to invest so much time in keeping their bodies atractive with great exercise/diet, fashion on top and faces filled with make up.

When guys try to improve themselves to get to a pretty girls standards of dating, by investing in self development, like Pua courses, they are seen as desperate loners.

It just doesn't seem like girls aprechiate the compassion on the same feeling they themselves feel. So in the sense of accepting insecurity, are women really more forgiving than men?
