I still have fond feelings for all but one of my seven exes. I'm Facebook friends with my first girlfriend. I was 16 and she wasn't yet 15 when we got together and I lost my virginity.

I still love one girlfriend deeply. We met when I was 36 and she was 30. We lived together for almost two years. And even though we could not be life-long partners, we still loved each other. Petra reconnected with me 18 years after we separated. Five years later, I read that she had died from a sudden medical problem at the age of 55.

Even though I've been happily married for 28 years, I will always love Petra and will never forget her.

I had a very serious long distance relationship.. After 3 years I really could not see any way that we were going to end up together so I broke up with her. There was no animosity and we told each other that we loved them before we hung up. I still care about her even though I have no idea where she is.

two of them are among my best and close friends... in big part because we were good friends first since school days

with the most recent exes and being more of adults, we're in good terms and we stay in touch from time to time, just to catch up here and there... but not as close friends like that, lol

If your breakup is mutual and friendly then there’s no reason for you not to wish your ex well in life. So I still care, but I certainly don’t feel any love for them anymore.
