I passed by her and all she does is grin and wave. Is this insignificant or a sign of disinterest?

There's a girl I've had a couple dates with now, which have went well. The second one though felt a little more quiet, but everyone keeps telling me it's normal in the early stages of dating. She is also an introvert. Anyway, a couple times this week I passed by her on campus. She wouldn't look at me until I would say hi, and all she would do is look, grin, do a small wave and keep going. She does have her headbeats on, but I thought there would still be a little more enthusiasm. Could she just not be interested?

Aw man, that's always kinda lame not knowing where you stand. A couple thoughts on this:

First, like you said, she could just be an introvert so a big reaction isn't her style. Some people aren't all that expressive.

Second, it is still pretty early. Sometimes those first dates people are shy and don't wanna come on too strong.

But I'd say the grinning and waving is at least a good sign - she's acknowledging you and not acting like she doesn't want to talk at all.

My advice would be, try asking her out again but make it a little clearer you're into her. Not in an overwhelming way, but something like "Hey, I had fun with you, wanna do something this weekend?" Getta get a read on her interest level.

If she says yes, great! Keep things light and fun. If she's not into it or doesn't make plans, then at least you have your answer and don't gotta wonder anymore.

Mostly just play it cool. Don't overthink the small stuff yet. Give it another date and you'll know better where she's at. Hope it works out man! Let me know what happens.
