If a grown and responsible man decides to enter into a relationship with a single mother, the responsibility he takes on is double. Children also get attached and show affection to their mother's partners... So if said man, knowing he's getting involved with a single mother, doesn’t want to settle down and create a stable relationship, he’s a complete jerk. He’ll hurt not only the woman but also her child/children.

That's actually a good question, my brain exploded with that one, if you are serious about the kid too then yea I think it counts as settling considering you are taking the part of the father figure in that family.

if you marry her, just be prepared for the possibility of paying child support for kids that aren't yours if the marriage ends in a divorce
