Do men hate socks as a gift?

I’ve heard men say they hate being gifted socks. Is that true?

From experience, the men I know don’t treat themselves to new things often - especially necessities like socks / undies so I’m curious.

I just bought 24 pairs of socks like 2 weeks ago. We buy them when we need them and from companies we like. You know how many sock companies are woke? like 95% of them. So unless your man is gay, don't buy him socks because you'll probably by him gay socks that he doesn't want to wear.

In that case the first name that comes to mind is Fox River Mills (foxsox). They manufacture socks in America, they are privately owned so they can't be bullied by big companies like BlackRock into having trannies masturbate into socks while degrading soldiers as ad campaigns, and when pressured on their DEI policy they flat out told the public that they were an Equal Opportunity Employer and they left it at that. They make good socks. He'll appreciate them.

They're practical, but not very interesting or exciting. And frankly, most men would probably wear a pair of socks that were 3/4 disintegrated and not really care. If I was getting some for somebody, I'd probably do it along with something else, just to make a better impression.

Socks are about as boring and mundane as you can get. Might as well get them a bag of sawdust.

If you are one of those women who likes cute colorful socks, men don't do that. Men mostly wear solid black, brown or dark blue socks. Functional and boring.

It depends on the guy. Im not particular on socks. I buy a pack and ride them out until they rip enough to throw them out before getting new ones. Most men use their clothes until it becomes unusable
