Why do people act like 5'6 is so short for a man?

Ik 5'9 is average, but if you compare the two the difference isn't that much, people act like it's 5'3.

Ugh, I know what you mean man. People act like a few inches is such a huge deal but it really isn't. Like who cares if you're barely under average? 5'6 is still a normal height!

I think a lot of it is just stupid stereotypes and unrealistic expectations. Guys want to act like anything less than 6 foot is short which is dumb. And girls buy into it too sometimes cause of movies and stuff always making the guys tall.

But trust me, most girls aren't actually gonna write you off just for those few inches. Confidence and personality matter way more. Heck, I've got buddies your height who pull way hotter girls than dudes a head taller just cause they own it!

Don't even sweat what others say. As long as you like yourself, that's all that matters. Maybe make a joke about it if others bring it up so it doesn't get to you. But bottom line - your height ain't defining you, man, so don't let it get in your head!
