And yes I understand this is a fake movie but maybe it's a bit telling in a way of society that women would choose to love a ugly man yet when thinking about it in reverse tho I don't think the story would be the same or even make sense. Like men can be shallow when it comes to choosing women based of looks. Not even giving a ugly woman a chance...

I’m not sure if “fake” is the correct name. I’ve known plenty of women who love the ensation of a guy being barely able to control themselves when they are around. There is so, etching that speaks to some women- and probably some guys as well. It’s a omnination of what are generally “bad boy” behaviors. Foremost among them is that they are exerting such an attraction that they are barely able to completely unable to control their behavior- esp. when the beauty is around. There s a very popular fantasy often called a “rape fantasy” that may be the most common sexual fantasies women share. Of course it has nothing to o with the crime of ease so it can be difficult to discuss. It’s far more a fantasy of being so desirable that you imagine someone or ones you want round you and you are exerting such a strong sexual response that men can’t keep their hands from you. I suspect the attributes of “the beast” reflect some of that same desire. Please understand that I’m mot saying a fantasy about actually being raped which is a crime wherein sexual attraction takes a back seat to whatever anger or power trip am actual rapist might feel. It’s far more a fantasy about you being so irresistibly attractive that men aren’t really to able to control their reactions in the face of that degree of desire. Please don’t go bat shit about this as I am in o way suggesting that rape wnould be in any way condoned.

Issue with this assessment…. She fell in love with “The Beast” for his whole character though it was palatable thanks to the magical furniture, the beautiful manor, and the elegance of everything, the mystery, learning about what happened to cause the Beast qualities.

If the gender roles were reversed, I’d have to think what setting would sweep the guy off his feet to accept the “beast” looking woman? It isn’t as simple as beauty and ugliness, there is a romantic attraction.
Think about the things that would appeal to the guy. This story was crafted for a woman since it is a princess being swept off her feet so, obviously it is hard to imagine the roles switched.

Let me tell you that most Indian women including me get bullied by men on the internet even when we don’t look like beasts. White men are especially racist and yes the Indian guys living outside India have also been brainwashed to hate Indian women. This is why I’m very selective about the guys I have relationships with.
