What do I do? Never been in a relationship before so I have no clue how any of this works. ?

So here's my deal, last week I ran into a guy I met 2 years ago. I was in a conversation with someone else and he came up to say hi to me. He was a pretty nice guy and I had talked to him like 3 times but I rarely see him ever on campus since he takes night classes. When i talked to him these times I thought he was really nice and I liked him and had a little crush on him because he's my type and all of our conversations were initiated by him and there's always some serious eye contact anytime we talked. So last week also I finally got his name since I did not before, and I ended up adding him on Instagram which he added me back really quickly. I messaged him first and all but he’s been pretty dry and just responding with one word answers. I haven't texted him since last weekend, and Im a but confused on what to do now, since I've never been in a relationship, had anyone talk to me before like that, I've done nothing, so i have no clue if I should also take it as he's not interested either. Any help on what i should do or think about this is appreciated.
