I feel time just moves so quickly. I have been on some dates but haven't found the right guy yet. Am I getting old?
2.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Not old at 24 but you are right - time goes by quickly.
Look, on holiday, I met a cafe waitress and immediately thought she would be a really good girlfriend. Since my home was nearly 4,000 Km distant, I didn't do anything. I would have if the distance had been within a bulls roar.
So my first suggestion is to understand what men look for and be that girl. Girls seem to think what they look for in a man is what a man looks for in a woman. It isn't.
If you dress like you are sex on a stick then expect men to want only sex from you. You might get a lot of attention but it is sex tonight attention. Dress attractively and femme.
Focus down what you want in a man. Three requirements (including being single) is about 3 suitable men in a 100. Five requirements is 4 men in a 1000 are suitable. Ten reqs are about 1 in 100,000 men are suitable. It is all very well not settling but if you have 5 foolscap pages of what you want in a man then you are never going to meet him.
17 reqs will mean about 1 man in the US will meet your needs. But he gets a say too don't forget.
I am laboring this because you've said you have not met the right man. You could have too many requirements.
I've got mine for a girl down to three. Even then it seems a bit of a stretch.

And then they get older and their options get worse. Soon a guy that would've been settling in their twenties, looks like a great catch now, but it's too late. So you can do whatever you like but I think you'll be happier in the long run if you at least get into a long term relationship soon. You don't have to get married or stay with this man for ever but it usually doesn't end well for women who just stay single and date around. The internet is full of women who record themselves telling a bunch of lies about how they ended up in their situation and then crying about how no guy wants to be with them.

1 yIf you think you are old then I am a grandmother. Take your time and keep your standards high. I never dated anyone before for religious purposes. you aren't alone.

Thank you ❤️I get anxious thinking about it but it's better to be single than with the wrong person I guess.

1 yI suspect your standards are way too high. It's unfortunately common among women your age. There just aren't enough well-endowed 6'2" millionaires with eight pack abs to go around.
My suggestion is that you look in places that match your interests and give guys a good chance. If you're religious, look in church. If you like sports, go to a sports bar. Etc. Don't expect the guy to have everything you're looking for because that's unrealistic.

1 yYou don't want to regret it. You're only 24 and it's so early to be sad. I suggest you focus on your life. I hope a honest man will love you.

Once you reach 40, it's probably best yo give up. I mean you still could, but the risks are increased by a pretty big degree. My younger sister was born worn my mom was 35, so it's doable. The reason why it's said that a woman's value decreases at 30 is because there's only about 10 years left she can reproduce and if you just started dating, she may not gave her first child until her mid 30s. You're in your mid 20s, so for reproduction, you still gave time.

Yes definitely. I kind of have the feeling I should start soon and I want my next relationship to be serious. Every woman can be different but generally yes it's at 35 if gets harder. My mom had her last at 36 with no issues. I might get lucky and have one when I'm around 30 , I'd be happy with that. But it's hard to find traditional men sometimes, although they're out there. On dating apps less so. I'm actually having a lot of difficulty. I'm told I am attractive, but I'm very introverted and I have emotional baggage so I've attracted a lot of toxic guys too. I don't know what's wrong with me.

1 yThe one thing that you shouldn't do is panic and rush into something unpreparedly. Keep your eyes open for someone, but don't make finding love into your life's purpose. 24 is certainly not too old or too late.
00 Reply10.9K opinions shared on Dating topic. 24 isn't that old. Women who concentrate on medical school, law school or other fields that require a lot of education often don't start dating seriously until older than that.
