I'm 29 and I've never been in a relationship. Am I the only one?

I was just wondering if I'm the only one on here who is almost 30 and never been in a relationship.
I know it's not common, but are there any other people like me?

There was a guy on the radio that supposedly was turning 30, if I remember correctly… and the DJ’s at the station made it a mission to get the guy a date (and a kiss) by the time he hit 30.


With it being rare, again, I don’t know if anyone here has never been in a relationship by 30.


Of course, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be sometimes. I’m in my early 40’s and wouldn’t say my dating life has been particularly great. Even the relationships (when I got them) were kind of problematic and almost more trouble than they were worth. I mean, I learned some good lessons, but past that, they weren’t really all that great.

No u are not the only one , it happens and its okay but if u want to pursue one cuz u want to then go for it but u are pursuing it out of pressure then go for it but don't choose anyone... as u might meet a great guy whom u wouldn't regret waking up besides just do what u feel like to and if u are not clear what u feel then take desicison using ur logic.

I get your point. I won't pursue any relationship because I'm not ready for one. It's just that sometimes I wonder if it's normal or if I'm too old to be this way.

I’m a middle-aged married woman, but I don’t think you’re alone. I think it’s getting to be a challenge to find people that you might relate to these days. As a race I think we are all living longer, so that is a factor.
Getting established in a career can also be a priority for many who want to do that portion of their life alone before settling into a relationship. There are kind and wonderful people out there, you’ll hopefully encounter some of them :-).
