Are Brazilians considered Latino/Latina?

My girlfriend is Brazilian and most of her friends are Latino/Latina, they consider her one of them, she also dances and listens to Spanish music.

If they are from North or South America but not from Canada, the US, Suriname, Guyana or the Falklands they are Latino/Latina.
