What are some good dating apps besides tinder?

I used to go on dates left and right on tinder until they banned me and I haven't really been on any dates since and that was like 2 years ago. Meeting girls in real life never really works for me, but with that being said my moral is pretty low these days because of it. Now I mean I'm not saying the women on there were of any decent quality, but at least I still felt desired somewhat. I guess I can get a second phone and a whole new number, sim card etc and get back on tinder. At 35 everyone is married has kids etc and I don't have any of that.

The last good one was Cupid, but Match bought them and then destroyed the site to get rid of the competition.

On Cupid, if you just wanted sex, you could just tick that box. What a huge time saver. Imagine that. If you were interested in the poly world, you just ticked that box. You would be surprised at how many married couples still date. It wasn't cheating, because you could talk to their spouse.

Meetup is your only option. There are tons of groups, so you just sign up for that group or groups. Maybe you like hiking. Just join that group. Then someone in the group will host an event, and you join that event.

Just make sure to only join groups with a lot of members. Dinner and dancing are by far the most popular categories. Don't join a goofy basket weaving group, or you will be the only one at the event.

Tinder is for hookups. Bumble, Zoosk, and eHarmony are more for relationships. Although when I left, Bumble had a hookup offshoot.

I know of a guy who got 3 girls on tinder and fucked them all after the first date. You can find a long-lasting relationship on tinder, my sister found two, but it's not designed for those only seeking that. My sister wanted sex and dates. That's what she got. Two guys wanted to be exclusive with her, and that's why they started dating. However, don't go on tinder if you aren't prepared for hookups. Bumble has/had an option for hookups, while Zoosk and eHarmony are for those who don't want hookups.

why’d you get banned from Tinder?

@DreamCrescent I have no idea. They don't tell you or let you back on. I think it's either I was swiping too fast or a girl I was talking to reported me and it instantly banned me. This girl I just started talking to wanted me to come over and I said I'd at least like to go on a date first. She sent a heart symbol as a reply, then she replied back saying she just wanted to cuddle is all. Then i asked for her address and said I'd come over after eating. As soon as I sent that message it banned me

@red324 i was weighing my answer to be honest. I’m single, I’m not on the apps right now but i was debating: if this guy has proven himself suspicious and gotten kicked off of Tinder, is the right advice change your number and get a new Tinder profile and that way at least he doesn’t spread into other apps? Or do we answer the question about other apps (and risk creeper infiltration onto other platforms)

You know that Tinder isn’t the right platform to meet someone, i know you’re not that naive. I think just the likelihood for nsa hookups will always appeal to a guy and that’s why Tinder is a successful business model. Regardless of the few stories here and there about someone actually meeting a longer term partner on Tinder, that’s not the place to go for that

I used Coffee Meets Bagel and it’s actually a good dating app. It didn’t feel sleazy due to the bottom of the barrel selection of guys on there is what i mean by good dating app. Be warned though, it’s not a quick swipe and match

You do you, though. Everyone is at their own stage in relationships readiness. You might be at the Tinder stage. i wouldn’t move out of the sandbox and into the big kids playground unless I’m being mindful and deliberate about what i want and where i am in life. it’s a great way to get your profile flagged

Someone found you suspicious enough to flag you. And it isn’t the girl you were last texting; if does’t happen that fast.

I highly recommend you self-reflect a little and decide who and where you are at the moment. A lot of people have trouble meeting people in the real world but please don’t add to the creepster population online, it’s already teeming. Honestly, online to me is scarier than in real life due to exactly that reason

@DreamCrescent a brief online search using the word tinder ban will give you the same explanation I did. Got banned for no reason given, they won't appeal it.

It's happened to tons of people. I've been on tinder for a long time and it'd the only app that actually has real people on it, not a bunch of bots and scammers

When you google “tinder ban” you’ll also find their client services sections with instructions on appealing or reversing the ban
