Made the first move and was laughed at?

I was at the club and noticed a guy that was checking me out.. I never made the first move before and I was sure that he looked at me twice so I took all my courage and asked him if he had a girlfriend.. suddenly he started laughing and said “yea yea sure” and I was like “okaay do you want my number?” And he said “yeaa yea sure I don’t have my phone with me” and left. That was so humiliating.. i mean I was polite and I have never been rejected lol why didn’t he just say that he’s not interested.. it even felt like he couldn’t believe that I was asking for his number.

@Sandraxxo I don't think you did anything wrong but his reaction is likely one that many men would have because it's so out of the blue and weird to have a woman do that to a man (maybe the current generation of clubbing dudes have it different and are players who take advantage of their good looks and charm so have easy access to lots of girls so treat them with disdain like your encounter but that's not the norm for most men). So you took a shot and it seemed to miss but he was perhaps just reacting shocked and defensive IF he's a normal functioning average man and not fukboi.

So you're probably right that he didn't believe this was real because it's so unexpected and rare it could have been shock that pushed that reaction.

Don't give up doing this, it's refreshing though I would advise clubs as being not the best place to find a good man who will offer more than fleeting moments of enjoyment.

Not believing it was real would be the best case, out of all the places to make the first move you chose a club? I'm not trying to bash on your game here but your choice of scenery or environment could've been better, mostly if it's known that clubs don't necessarily have the best choices for relationships.
