Would you bring protection on your first night together?

Question

I (29) recently started dating this girl (25). We are both little shy and slow. We yet to have sex. Next week we will spend the weekend together. Would you bring some protection with yourself or when you speak about the nighttime activities you would just buy some on the spot?

There are stores all around us. If I have to buy some it's a 5 minute walk including going out, buying it and coming back.

Some may ask why is this question? We are both a little bit slower in dating. I don't want her to think "this was the plan", because it is not, I wouldn't mind having sex with her, but I'm willing to wait for her if she doesn't feel like it is time. If she would be more open about it I would bring some, no question.

For example: holding hand in public came after 2 months of dating. She was hesitant, when we finally did hold hands, she was very sorry for waiting for this long, but she was overthinking "what others will think". She is wonderful, but I feel like she is very inexperienced, I might be her first boyfriend. I'm also not very experienced, but not my first relationship. I love her very much but never been in a place where I'm more experienced than my partner.

Of course. You should always carry it w you in case you need to lock n offload. Nothing worse than working up to it only to realize you don’t have a jimmy to protect your junk. Bring a condom but don’t pressure her. Find out if she’s on bc. Also consider just doing other stuff (oral, hand stuff) for your first time together. I was very satisfied with just that till I finally lost my v card a few months ago.

I personally have protection at home at all times. Between my roommate and myself it’s just helpful to have them especially if a dude one of us happens to be seeing forgets or doesn’t want to use one/wants to risk it.
