Trending & News I'd want a woman that puts in equal effort. One who supports me as much as I support her. One who matches my investment in the relationship. I want loyalty, and honesty; the same as I give to her.
If she doesn't want to work, that's fine, I'll support her, but I'd want an equal amount of effort from her, in return. Take care of the house/kids, cook dinner, etc. If I work outside of the house, then she works inside the house.
If she wants a job, too, then I'd expect her to split those duties with me, as well as contribute her fair share, financially.
I'm not misogynistic; I support women's rights, and her choices, but I want a partner, an equal, not a dependant. I want someone that adds value to my life, instead of one that adds to my burdens.
Any effort that I put into her, and the relationship, should be returned, in an equal, although not necessarily similar, matter.
I do not want a woman who believes that men exist to cater to her every whim, or believe that men only exist as walking ATMs. I do not want a woman that takes my affect, hard work, a devotion for granted, while giving me nothing in return.
The point is, she can choose what kind of wife she wants to be, and I'll respect that, so long as she's not just along for a free ride, and to take me for granted, 'cause that's not gonna fly with me.
To put it simply, to be wife material a woman needs to make a man overlook all the red flags modern marriage poses for men today.
For most men today, marriage is a hazardous proposition that doesn't offer enough positives to offset all the negatives. Half of marriages end in divorce, women file 80% of them, and men get screwed in divorce court and child custody. Add to that the fact that most women don't bring the same value to the marriage table that women of the past did, and you can see why men are very cynical about marriage, and women today.
So, to answer your question, to be viewed as marriage material, a woman needs to seem like she can be better than most women today and assuage men's justified fears of marriage.
On a larger scale, women simply need to be better women and have priorities that are more consistent with men's, or marriage will continue down it's current path of going extinct in another generation or two.

Uplifting support, a warm welcome when I get home from work or anywhere I go, emotional support when I’m at my low, someone to hear me & care for me, to have sex with & make intimate love to (yes there’s a difference), honesty & transparency just as I’d do for her.
I have a girlfriend and we are happy together from this type of dynamic.
Time, money, affection, and sex. Same things that I offer.
Respect, love , sex food, taking care of home and kids.
Honesty (as much as a woman can be honest anyhow). Loyalty, and genuine attraction. If she can't do that then just go away.
She has to be crazy if she wants friends with benefits
Submission, peace and blowjobs
