Honestly, I'm not really phased by it. If they smoke, I don't care, as long as it doesn't affect the relationship or daily life. For example, my second boyfriend smoked, but rarely. He never did it around me, and it didn't affect our relationship. We went our separate ways for reasons not even close to smoking. So no, smoking is not a red flag as long as it doesn't affect anything.

Yes I don't think I could date someone that smokes. I get so repulsed just by the smell on their clothes if they smoke before going to bed and then wanna cuddle or kiss or something I couldn't do it. And a relationship can't work if you can't be close :)

I despise smoking. In college, I dated a girl who smoked and wanted to give it up, so we worked out a deal where there was something else should could put between her lips and enjoy. It worked, she stopped smoking. 😎

Well it basically determines that I won’t date anyone that does. I really can’t stand it, it’s more of a dealbreaker than a red flag, doesn’t make them a bad person, but just keeps me from being interested
