A guy I was seeing just changed his mind over night? ? was seeing a guy for a few weeks, something I thought was casual seemed to become quite fullon?

We went out a few times and I had a couple of nights at his. I was suprised at just how affectionate and loving he was, we would kiss, cuddle and talked about lots of personal things for hours! I left his he seemed to go very quiet, so I asked him “are you ok? You are very quiet with me the last few days, if you would rather I didn’t message you or don’t want to see me again you just have to say, we said we would be honest with each other”

he replied with “ if you don’t want to see me anymore just say so? I don’t want to stop seeing you, you are amazing, I love it when im with you and I’m really comfortable around you”fast forward a week, he’s still replying but asked if he has any free time and wanted to meet up tomorrow, was going to have the conversation with him, he replied saying yes that would be nice and shall we go for coffee.

We met for coffee, we laughed and talked about all sorts for 2 hours, went outside for some fresh air and he asked me why I didn’t kiss him hello, and he gave me a kiss, and asked if I could stay longer for another coffee, he kept saying how nice I smelt, smiling and when I asked why he said because I had a beautiful smile, when we left he walked me to my car and again was very affectionate, gave me a very passionate kiss, looked at me quite intense and said “your beautiful, are you free tomorrow evening? and I left feeling a little baffled, it seemed much more than a casual thing now. anyway the next day I had heard nothing at all, I messaged if I was seeing him later and he ignored me for 3 days, I messaged him just saying i felt I wouldn’t be seeing him again and that it was ok to be honest with me and got this“yes I should of said, I am not in the right mindset, as you know I came out of a long relationship this year and I don’t want to waste your time, I’m so sorry” I just said there’s no need to be sorry, and take care and he replied “ you are an amazing woman and I’m so glad I met you” so I just left it there.

Bizarre but happens. Sometimes it even goes as far as them becoming fully committed and you feeling they are completely, ‘in’, only for it to suddenly cease via a text message explaining they need to be single longer. Problem because when this occurs so often that when the next individual pops into your world exclaiming interest in you that you immediately dismissing them by saying something like, “Don’t worry. You will change your mind towards me shortly and move on to the next.” They may not believe you at first but alas they always do.

Weird. His ex is still in his head. If you want him, tell him that is fine. When he is ready feel free to reach out. He probably needs someone to talk to about his ex but it would be weird talking about her with you.
