Do men prefer women who ignore them or play hard to get?

Not true. Most the time playing hard to get will result in the men you genuinely don’t want being the ones who are persistent.

Men who aren’t playing games themselves want a woman who genuinely is into them. Personally for myself since all men are different. I’m not wasting my time playing games or on women who aren’t into me. When there are women who do like me.

There is a difference between a woman who sleeps around with any guy who will take her and a woman who wants a genuine relationship

If you want someone show interest if he rejects. Just be glad he’s not wasting your time. Also sometimes people read signs wrong or someone makes too big of a fantasy of someone until they meet them and loose interest.

For men who have options. Playing hard to get more times then not results in loosing interest because there is other women willing to put effort into him.

When talking to somebody you can tell within 2 minutes of your conversation if there are game player or if they're not

But playing really hard to get will most probably have the opposite effect. Constantly rescheduling a date, for instance by saying you can't make it for this or that reason, will eventually make us look elsewhere. We don't want to be in a position where we're begging for your attention. I don't think girls want that either.

Those things can be fun when your younger but as your get older those things get more and more annoying and eventually you get to the point where you just don't feel like wasting your valuable time with someone who acts hard to get or ignores you.

Because someone who actually likes you and doesn't see you a plaything would be direct with you and not waste your time by playing immature games.

It is like a cat chasing a mouse. Once he catches it and it no longer try’s to get away the cat looses interest and leaves it alone. He likes the chase to hone his skills.
For me if she shows no interest once she knows that I am interested in her then I move on and don’t look back.
