You'll know as soon as she resorts to any sort of temper tantrum to deal with any sort of bullshit. People who resort to such toxic behaviors basically resort to those toxic behaviors for way more things than just the relationship. Also besides just watching them... listen to them. They'll usually tell you about doing such and such in the past (basically telling on themselves) as if they're priming you to deal with it yourself. So if she has a past that she seems almost proud of such a thing... eventually you'll be the target too.

Reminds me of this friends with benefits's I had a while back. Everything was fine between us, but I didn't pick up on the fact that she's restricted from owning a gun or to see her own child. It slowly crept into the relationship to the point that I felt like I was walking on eggshells and felt relieved when she wasn't going to show up. Then it finally clicked in my brain..."Oh, this bitch is psycho and has just been on her best behavior for 5 months and she's letting her mask slip now." Fortunately, we had agreed it was going to end and so it just ended as per agreement. Engaged chick cheating on her man. Kept in touch and she started fucking like 3 guys a day after me... a total whore. I think the guy caught on because they're no longer together, her ex-husband has the kid, and she's probably fucking some random guy right now. That's the story of my 6-month temporary wife. On the plus side she constantly bought me things and took me out to eat, and I nutted in her all the time... even in her butt.

Yes... they weren't directed at me though so I didn't pick up on the behavior trait being such a bad thing. The tantrums are there but they won't be directed at you and it's easy to overlook.

Basically... fits of anger. The lack of emotional control was there the entire time.

I didn't feel any of it until she started trying, and failing to control me. That's when I started to get the toxic stuff from her. Like negging remarks, and way too many shit tests. Eventually, the fits of anger would get directed towards me for whatever reason... yes, when she didn't get her way... or when I didn't agree with her on something. Like who the fuck agrees on shit 100% of the time?

It got to the point that I didn't even like her, and it was just the commitment and the sex left. The sex was like the only good thing left towards the end. She turned from someone I could see myself being in love with into just a bitch... a mean-hearted bitch.
