Confidence is attractive, and not to be confused with arrogance or narcissism.

Also, I concur with the anonymous user who says extroversion trumps confidence. That could not be more false.

As an introvert, I observe a lot... and I notice a lot of people can be loud and talk a lot but the insecurities are still there and very unattractive. Anyone can be confident.

It's not a myth. But you can be attractive and another person not see it. Likewise you can be insecure and another person never picks up on it.

So I can see how it might SEEM like a myth.

Extroversion trumps confidence I'd say. If you're extroverted you're going to appear more confident. You can be the most confident person in the world. If you never put yourself out there, no one's ever going to see it.
