TRIGGER WARNING: StillBirth
Okay… so… I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years but we’ve been dating for 3. Things moved pretty quickly with us, he said he stopped talking to other people and I went to a family reunion with him pretty much 4 months after we started talking and he took me on vacation across the country a few days after that trip. The first 2 months I noticed he would have a Snapchat from the same girl every morning and he said it was for their Snapchat streak. I told him I didn’t really feel comfortable with that and he reassured me and said they are just old friends. When I asked if they’ve ever slept together he said once in high school but now they’re just friends.
Fast forward to about 9/10 months and he asks me to be his official girlfriend. By this time I have told him that’s it not appropriate to continue snapping her and he says okay he’d stop. Fast forward to now 2 years later, I just gave birth to our still born son almost 2 months ago to find out he’s actually still been messaging her on Snapchat this entire time every so often he claims. He also had multiple old nudes of her saved in their chats as well as a video of them fucking.. he admitted to lying about sleeping with her only once and told me they were friends with benefits until he met me. Although one of the nudes sent to him that he saved was after him and I started dating and he said he wasn’t talking to anyone else. Since we’ve gotten in an actual serious relationship he claims he just responds to her messages and never hits her up first but I don’t believe him anymore… He even told her that we lost our son… now I don’t trust him and feel betrayed.
He says they’re just friends now and he tried proving that by telling me how before she moved out of the state 2 years ago she asked him if he wanted to sleep together one more time and he told her no because he’s getting serious with me… Any advice? Am I blowing this out of proportion or should I leave?
