From what I've seen in life: She could be into guy #1 because of his looks*, guy #2 because of his personality only, guy #3 because he has looks AND personality, guy #4 because he has money. She could simultaneously be into all of these guys.

* even the hottest looking man on earth needs some charisma/personality to get women. Women don't think like dudes... most dudes would be okay with getting sex from a woman who has zero personality even tho he wouldn't take her seriously ever.

And she could treat you like dirt because of how you carry yourself... but treat you like a King if you switched how you carry yourself and your boundaries. I guess for both genders how you get treated has a lot to do with how you act.

‘Looks can be deceiving’, ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’, and ‘Listen to your heart’ are all sayings & quotes of the human condition as it pertains to attraction and finding the one whom you share your feelings.
Yes physical attraction plays a key role, though once you get through that checkpoint of the individual your hobbies, interests, character, and demeanor / overall personality is the thing that makes or breaks the connection from growing into something more.

I think it's a mix of both. Some women may solely go for the character and personality alone and the looks come second, or they strictly go for just looks.

For me I tend to look at both things but lean towards personality and character and if I'm really into the person then I think they are attractive or they become more attractive in my eyes. But those are things that usually take time.

Of course anyone who is attractive is going to get attention but they can either be super nice or a dick, and it goes both ways. So like I said in a really roundabout way, it's a matter of both.

I think i focus more on personality for sure, especially because I often don't know what the character looks like. I create an image of them in my mind, but that takes time.

But I also don't think you can completer remove personality from appearance. Your clothes, makeup, hair style, these are all choices that people make. This guy in the photo is wearing a cowboy hat so that tells me a lot about him.

Depends on the woman. But let's just say this... you'll have a much better shot if you're over 6 ft and very attractive. Many girls will often overlook your flaws if you're Caucasian, tall, and handsome.

Personality definitely keeps people though... both men and women.

Short term: appearance

Long term: character and personality (unless she's immature then it'll still be appearance).

If you're interviewing people for a job who has the best liklihood of getting thier foot in the door? The guy in a suit or the guy dressed like a hobo? Appearance matters to get noti ed. That's just REAL! It is possible that a woman hears and observes your personality if she's really looking. But most will go off first impression which generally means appearance.
