I would put that differently. Guys and gals who fight against being in the friendzone lack self respect.
Everyone has probably done this at least once. I'VE done this once. The difference is a LEARNED from it. You're a CHOICE, not an option. I don't care who you are! Everyone is deserving of respect. Never waste another minute on so e who considers you an OPTION.
I think for the most part that analogy is correct , the person does not want to be you , why in hell would you want to be with them? You've been cast aside , cut clean the dead wood , friendzone is of their own creation.
A lot of times yeah. Sometimes it’s hard to give up on a person even if it’s obvious they’re not interested. But it’s not right to keep pursuing someone who’s made it clear they just want to be friends.
The worse ones are the ones that don't accept they aren't even in the friends zone and just don't leave you alone

Some are yes… If someone has friend zoned you it’s better then being enemy zoned… or acquaintance zoned either. At least someone whose being friend zoned must have some likable character but either she isn’t interested, if she is she knows the relationship would never work out, or she’s with someone. Whatever the reason just move on there are other people out there.
It is the same with girls who get angry about this kind of stuff too. Some people do refuse to take no for a answer and ruin people even liking them as a friend. Every man and every woman is different just because one person isn’t into you doesn’t mean someone else won’t be. Unless you start acting like a creep then… Maybe they will catch wind of it and not want to be with you.
A lot of people and it does go for both sexes feel a ridiculous sense of entitlement to another person. Nothing entitled anyone to even bring someone’s friend.
Yes, there are idiots who play “hard to get” most of the time those people chase off the people they are genuinely interested in and the only ones not taking no for a answer is creeps, weirdos, turds, etc. Which those people have nobody to blame but themselves. But that’s not the topic at hand.
Yeah, being rejected hurts but at least you have closure. If a girl is being honest on a kind way that’s so much better then some coward who won’t give a direct answer or strings someone along for personal gain. Same for girls when a guy outright rejects you.
Take time to grieve and now you know…. You’re not wasting your time on somebody who doesn’t want you point blank or at least someone playing games. Take no for what it is. If you made your move and they are into you they know where to find you.
As for me personally my Philosophy is this… Why would I want to be with someone whose not into me… Why waste my time trying to convince someone who doesn’t want me to be with me when there are people out there who are willing to put effort in and do want me.
Makes zero sense to me at all. But a lot of these people they chase people off and so they become desperate for anybody. Which is sad they have chosen to do this. Instead of waiting for the right person
Yea sadly some people don’t know what the word No means , they were raised to always think they are right and never wrong , So when you tell them No , it goes in one ear out the other , best thing to do is just ignore them and distance yourself from them as much as possible
Are you serious this really happens wow
What are they even fighting about this is funny. If this happened to me I would be saying what and I couldn't stop laughing I mean
I can't even believe this happens
Fight against being in the friendzone…
As opposed to what? Accepting it?
The friendzone is a bad thing.
It’s a sign you lack the spine to put your heart on your sleeve and go for what you want.
Once you do and the answer is no, it’s time to move on and stay away from the person
I don’t see how you can still be friends with a guy who clearly and openly has a thing for you but you don’t
Keeping him around gives him hope and keeps him trapped in a dead end road
The point is you aren't keeping him or her around, they are the ones not understanding the word no and they keep trying to be more than what you told them, that they are friends.
Unfortunately we don’t get to tell people what they can and can’t be (unless we pay them for their time)
But what we can do is not go halfway
Someone likes you. You don’t like them back.
You don’t keep them as a friend you ask them to fully stay away
If they don’t that’s harassment plain and simple
Usually a woman puts the guy in the friend zone because she wants stuff from him (emotional support, ego strokes, money) but doesn't want to give him anything and he's dumb enough to think it's a good deal. It's like robbing mentally disabled people of their food. Imagine if a thief came in here asking if their victims are creeps.
But I get it, a lot of women think any man they don't want is a "creep" regardless of what he is doing. He could 100% mind his own business and not be bothering her at all and be considered a creep. So eh.
No. Don't be daft.
There are usually two "types" of so called "friendzone". Ignorance or exploitation.
The ignorance type is one (or both) being ignorant of feelings for the other and not knowing how to take the next step to develop the relationship.
But the second is the more common. Where one is exploiting the other with "hope" of a potential relationship; but only if they continue to let them be the parasite.
I agree that they just lack self respect. I asked one man out six times, thinking I’d wear him down at the time. At the time, I felt like my whole life’s happiness depended on that one man accepting me and I daydreamed about our perfect life together.
I was in love at the time, but it was a mistake to be so persistent. No one likes someone who comes across as overly eager.
So I actually told friends I don't believe in the friend zone I just feel it's a childish concept and you never know what you might missing by labeling someone as such and feel it limits you greatly
But as for your question I think the answer varies by personre-state//background_color_rgba (0, 0, 0, 0), font_color_rgb (77, 77, 77), justifyLeft
It's a normal Human Reaction to try and find love and try to get out of the Friendzone, They are not Creeps.
So you would call a a Girl a Creep if She just wanted to get out of the Friendzone and wouldn't take no for an answer?
Of course you wouldn't and Guys wouldn't even call her a Creep either, But you just want to call Guys Creepy just because they like you and you don't like them you don't see Guys calling Girls Creepy when they behave like that.
no one is obligated to be in the friendzone
calling them creeps is a cheap way to shame them into staying there
seems like some people are so entitled they're fighting to keep others in the friendzone
No, because guys in the friendzone never heard "no" because they never had the balls to ask. If he asked, he isn't in the friendzone, he's in the pity, rejection zone. No actually friendship involved.
@goaded I always took it as guys wanting to be my friend in hopes that they can get closer to me and get a chance to date me. I've never once been friends with a guy that's asked me out. But I've been friends with a dozen guys that obviously wanted to.
Only one confessed his feelings for me, and it was after I moved in with my boyfriend. The same boyfriend that trusted this guy and even invited him over and cooked for him... And the friendship ended at that point.
@goaded great point actually
That seems like an odd assumption. Maybe they have only a romantic interest and have no interest in being "just" friends, so when the other rejects they accept it and move on.
I have been friendzoned and just had to deal with it. I think it happens to most of us at one time or another
No value in being friends with a women for men. Women can get a ton of value from being friends with men.
Depends. 90s definition of friend-zone or new definition?
In the 90s/00s the problem with the friend zone wasn't that the answer was no. It was that women didn't give an answer at all.
If they accept the no answer of being for them instead of killing selves or getting gobbled up should be given to me
I'm glad I'm old. There was no "friendzone" when I was young.
If someone rejects you, end of story. Move on. End the friendship if need be. Otherwise, it is harassment.
Yes. This is mostly a guy thing.
Women are friend zone? I never knew that
Depends what you mean by "fight".
@RageBabe So A man should never ask a girl out a second time?
@RageBabe Isn't asking more than once "not being able to take no for an answer"?
@RageBabe Agreed.
Sometimes yes
Yes..
Probably
