Why do guys get upset that they’re in the friendzone?

Some guy I knew called me out and went off on me because he felt the same way as my guy friend when I keep shutting him down every-time he asked me out so many times. Every school dance, Valentine’s Day. I did go to the dance with him a TWICE and prom once but AS friends. I’m wasn’t even attracted to him. Then my sister knocked some sense bro me to open my eyes and see that my guy friend was the man for me the entire me and I need to go see him and talk to him. He always sat next to me (hello we’re friends!) Also I’m in love but I didn’t want to admit. Then I realized it that he was the man for me ALL ALONG.

He said it’s my own fault and save the tears because I could have given him a chance but I keep throwing him in the friend zone when I KNEW he was in love with me. I only used him when guys broke my heart, don’t even talk to him (I do talk to him) and he sounds like a great catch but I’m too stuck up to open my eyes and realize it. And NOW I want him.
We’ll I am glad he find someone else. Honestly I wouldn’t be happy if I was dating him.
Why do people convince to date the person that’s love them for years but they have no feelings back?

Some people have severe entitlement problems and you better believe these same people take joy in rejecting other people as well as don’t want someone else to reject them. But they for some odd reason think they’re entitled to be with someone else.

Number one it makes zero sense to me why someone would want to be with someone whose not attracted. Number two if you had no likable qualities someone wouldn’t even be your friend but if they want to screw up even having friends that’s their issue.

Number two not everyone’s going to be into someone. Most people can accept that fact and focus on the people who are attracted rather then everyone who isn’t.

Number three you’re being honest with him you’re not being a coward and stringing him along or keeping him on the back burner feeding you energy as well as having a backup if all else fails. You have enough respect for him as your friend to not want to waste your time. But some people refuse to take no for a answer and waste their time on someone whose not attracted.

Number four rejection hurts, it sucks, it hurts…. It’s okay for him to feel disappointed and hurt those feelings are completely valid. But he’s built too much of a attachment to someone that’s one sided. He needs to allow himself time to grieve.

But reading further…. You said you used him when other men broke your heart. I’m starting to side with him the more I read this. He was wrong for not taking no for a answer but you’re wrong as well. He’s not meant to be and no matter what else someone says you shouldn’t waste your time with someone you don’t feel attracted to and much more you shouldn’t waste their time either.

You can be friends all day. Friends can lean on one another for emotional support that’s fine. But it’s wrong if you used him…. What’s meant to be will be mean to be. You’re as entitled to him as he is to you…. Both of you need to grow up and move on.

Typical. How would you feel if you wanted to be the girlfriend but were instead only the one who had to listen to the guy come back from dates and talk about how hot the other girl was and how she fucked him so good that he kept cumming.
