Unlikely. Not impossible but being an addict means you're NEVER past it. So you have to go into it with that mindset. That this will ALWAYS be battle for him/her.

I personally think only addicts should be with addicts. And ONLY if they currently working on thier sobriety.

I have a ladyfriend who's gotten out of rehab recently and thinks she's found her other half in there. Naturally I'm concerned for her because I don't feel either of them are at a place yet to be together. I hope the prove me wrong.

I loved a guy who was addicted to cigarettes and he was also addicted to girls. His eyes would always look at girls. Now I would never date someone like that.

If he proves that it is no longer an issue, then I would possibly consider, with caution.
