How do I get guys to notice me as a female?

I’m quite a vivacious woman, with lots of female and male friends. My guy friends don’t notice me at all, which is currently what I want. Supposing a guy joins the group one day, who I actually fancy, how do I get him to see me as being more than one of the guys? I’m not a tomboy or a girly girl, but I have a sassy, easygoing nature.
